“Widow’s Mite” by Richard McClellan
There is a widow who lives by herself.
She's all alone except for her faith.
Possessing twelve minutes of work this day,
All she has are two mites in her hands.
Being alone with no provider,
Hardship is her only experience.
With the absence of her spouse,
Yahweh provides her two mites this day.
She sacrifices her two mites.
Because of her faith in Yeshua,
Around the corner is her savior,
She puts two mites in the church tithe.
The savior says this poor widow,
put in more than all the others faced,
She is alone, with only her faith.
Her livelihood is his grace.
