“No Means No” by Juanita Rey
Nausea is something
I can put my hands on,
push him way.
Feeling sick to my stomach
has a name,
a tough guy,
a souvenir of a night out
that I should have left
behind at the club.
Vomit spills from my lips
but it also walks on two legs,
loose and yellowish
but hard and bearded.
“If you do that again,
I’ll kill you,”
I snapped at him in my head.
“Get the fuck out of here!”
was where I got that from.
